Welcome again to the Mod Scenes podcast. This is your host, Steven. I am so thrilled to chat with you on episode 180 5. So I’m coming to you live from the mod scenes church stage design. Dan of awesome is in route to one of our clients in the wonderful city of Indianapolis, Indiana. Uh, so it is currently super early in the morning. Uh, we are driving out to make sure we provide incredible service for this client. We have got RPMs voice that we’re bringing, uh, for this project. So we have 120 DMX voice. They are actually our DMX pencil voice. These, uh, led light fixtures are incredible. They’re pixel mappable. So you can create an amazing stage backdrops with them, uh, or you can create beautiful ceilings, uh, beautiful artwork, uh, like, uh, edit artist sculpture. They like a chandelier that moves. Um, they are awesome. These particular ones that we’re bringing, um, a, uh, pixel control with stage backdrops.

So you can control multiple segments within the light to the light tube is about three feet long. It’s actually exactly freaking long. Uh, there are 24 consoles in this light too, so you can get really beautiful flicker effects. Let’s say you want to make it look like a candle floating in the air. Paula Harry Potter giant. The room of Austin is the great hall. Um, or you can make it look like a like rainfall or icicles. You can make it look like they’re just giant red cylinders moving up and down. Uh, it’s it’s each could be individually controlled. You can have full waves and large movements across the vast areas of these things. The DMX pixel voice are incredible. So they are obviously a, uh, an led based fixture, uh, because of that, they use very little power. You can put 20 units per circuit, which is awesome.

Uh, they also, these particular units have a 48 foot for stage backdrops, uh, travel, please. Uh, so they are perfect for arenas, which is actually the type of space they will be in. Uh, they have power con in him through, so you can run your power into the fixture, jump it out to the next fixture. They have 3,500 PMs. So if you’re in a pension 2d view is three 50 Amex. You can, uh, they also have a upload port. So if we ever need to put new software on them to USB port in there where you can put new firmware on the units quite easily, um, the design of these fixtures is incredible. Uh, you can take off the side tables to, uh, rewire require if you need to make adjustments, replace parts, uh, just use screws on the side that you can access all of the main, uh, all of the main boards or access the actual that has the wire on it.

Um, that way you can put things back together and say, let’s say somebody, somebody tries to overload the motor. It’s too much weight on it. You can go through and replace the, uh, any components that may have failed. Say, say the motor itself, the actual separate motor Israel, you can quickly pull out, replace that, but with our awesome on scenes inches of stage backdrops, uh, we are happy to come out and help me with the project. Uh, so this particular project, we’re delivering these 120 DMX voice, uh, to our client and we’ll assist them in setting them up, testing them and making sure that they feel a hundred percent comfortable with, uh, these units running on their, uh, DMX controller of choice. Uh, one of the great, great attributes of our GMs voice is they can run on any standard DMX, five, 12 controller. So they like a grand in a console.

Uh, [inaudible] granted may one in any of those, uh, 80 of the hog series console. So if you wanted to go back, as far as the hub, a hub to, you could run it on a hop to, uh, you know, uh, hub three or four is really what most people would be familiar with. Um, but the new able ISE console in any type of major, a type of honestly DMX controller should be able to, uh, derive these fixtures. These fixtures are quite simple. The program from a programming standpoint, it’s very similar to a moving line. Uh, so you work within the parameters, uh, movements, movement, speed color. So for color, we have a red diode, a green diode, the diode divide. During those diodes, you can get your, uh, you can get your different colors. There was also a color of macro channel and a colored sweet channel.

So if you have, you want the cool functionality of the movement, all these fixtures for your stage backdrops, but you don’t actually have the time or, uh, DMX space to individually address each. You can go through it and still have some pretty cool chases and effects. Um, yeah, so, uh, and then there’s also pixel control on these units for each individual pixel. So each individual pixel is going to have a red, green, and blue diode to control. And there’s 24 of those. So running in our full capacity mode, you would be running on 83 2. So that 83 channels is going to be a mixture of the global picture tails, which is going to be a 10 channels for your call it global dimmer color movement, uh, and so on. And then, uh, 24 pixels, which are RGB pencils, uh, which will be control from channel 11 to 83, Emily.

Uh, so these, uh, researchers are awesome. Uh, we actually recently did a project church of the city where we had 80 of these fishers, uh, spread across a dry array where their Christmas services, uh, they worked super incredibly well. Um, the, uh, the team really loved them because we get just jumped power and data through really quickly, uh, you know, once everything was hog, they were up in programming within 10 minutes. Um, yeah, really, really incredible pictures. Um, the other great thing is utilizing DMX emerging technology. You can actually control the pixels and the movement of these fissures separately. So if you want to put video content directly on tape, moving pictures, these DMX pixel voice, you can. So for a recent project for, uh, for our friends over at gateway church, we did a, we used an RKO S media server, which that, uh, which bad pixel content.

So over our net into our network, then they’re granted may to say movement information onto the network. And then we use our matrix, a matrix, a matrix, uh, DMX nodes to do a X takes priority urge of the DMX signals with this. Uh, we could have full movement control of the fixtures. He had to run very complex visuals, uh, from high definition video, it was scaled down to pencils, uh, within our array, uh, which looked incredible. We got some very, very, uh, it’s a very, very beautiful looks out of that. And, uh, and it’s something else that we’ve also done with, uh, not only video, but also, uh, also on the flight content. So we’ve used the matrix, uh, system so major, uh, major three major five, then the software is incredible. It allows you to create, uh, led pixel arrays quickly, great content for it.

So many times we will provide a matrix solution for a pixel control and allow, and it set up a DMX merge from the client’s console to control the actual movement by doing this. And it gives us a lot of flexibility and lets us, uh, it lets us be able to, uh, be able to have really in-depth detail content while also having full control of the movement. Uh, it’s a really, really awesome, uh, way to a way to control the fixtures. So, um, we have, we do both rentals and sales for these projects, these, uh, these particular lighting fixtures. And we would love to give you a quote on your next project. Please reach out to us@nazis.com. We’d love to talk to you about the board, Phoenix voice, uh, aids about your event needs and how we can help you, wow, your, uh, your customers, your visitors, your guests, um, and if you don’t have too much waste days and would love, uh, some options for state backdrops, whether that be a church stage backdrop, or it be a, uh, backdrop for event or a backdrop for an expo, a, uh, a gala, whatever your need is, we are happy to help our lightweight easy products.
