Products: We create a wide range of simple to use products for stage design. The majority of these Mod Scenes products are modular enabling easy setup, and configuration for almost any space. The easiest way to think of our products is like Legos for stage design! Pieces can fit together in multiple ways to create many unique looks. We have three major product lines. Our most popular products are our Mod Scenes products. These are made of a fire rated coroplast, with simple hardware connections. Below are some more in-depth details. Our next highly rated Mod Scenes Product line is our Pro Scenes line of products. These products designed for the event industry, follow the same modular format, but in a much more polished and heavy duty fashion. They are designed to be touring grade and have captive connectors which allow for decreased setup time and increased profit per panel. You can see a full break down below. Lastly, we have our projection surfaces. These modular designs bring an incredible energy to your projection. Each modular screen can be designed to fit your space while creating a unique surface that has amazing character and good readability. Check out our process here to see how we will serve you well! Mod Scenes At Mod Scenes we love the Church and it shows in what we do. Mod Scenes and our idea for creating simple modular stage designs were born out of serving our local church. We want to serve you too! Here is a bit of detail on the incredible product we have created to serve you well! Our standard Mod Scenes panels are precision cut out of fire rated coroplast. This coroplast is a bright white that looks incredible when lit. Each panel pack contains 4 identical design panels, a connector pack, bolts, and wingnuts. Each pack has extra hardware and connectors to ensure you always have more than you need. Even better than that you can choose between white nylon bolts that essentially disappear or silver metal bolts which give a riveted look. All of our panels designs were created to be used in multiple ways. They can be built as backdrops or columns with the included hardware. You can also create self-supporting towers or even 3d cubes with a small amount of additional hardware. Furthermore, most of the designs can create multiple patterns when used as backdrops or towers. As you can see above, the top 2 images are created with our Samurai design panel which is shown in the third picture. The above stage backdrops look completely different by simply changing the rotation of some of the design panels. This ingenious design feature enables you to use your Mod Scenes set multiple times with a different finished look. Since our bolt pattern and hardware are universal between panel designs, you can intermix different design panels to create more options with a small investment. We want to not only create amazing looking sets but to help you be good stewards of the resources God has given you. Want to really know some technical details? Here is the nitty-gritty of our material. We use a 4mm white coroplast for all of our stock Mod Scenes panels. Every Mod Scenes panel is cut within a margin range of 1/64 of an inch. This exact cut makes assembly easy every time. Our Fire Rated Coroplast is self-extinguishing and has properties that are UL94V-2 compliant. Our material self extinguishes within less than 5 seconds, which is quite incredible. In comparison standard non-fire rated coroplast has a surface flame spread at a rate of 178 compared to Red Oak which is 100 (based on ULC-S102.2-78 test). Our plastic also has a high compressive strength which is over 96 PSI. Our coroplast is also tear resistant. Our heaviest coroplast design panel is 0.625 lbs. Most Mod Scenes panels have an average weight closer to 0.4 lbs. Pro Scenes At Mod Scenes we pride ourselves on creating products that can serve our clients well for multiple years. In the event industry products like this create a high return on investment for years to come. We have created one of the easiest to use and most beautiful modular scenic products on the market. Our panels are available for purchase or rental, enabling a great return on investment and additional flexibility as demand increases Our Pro Scenes panels are precision cut out of fire rated PVC. This PVC has an ultra-smooth surface that reflects lighting incredibly. Each panel pack contains 4 identical design panels. Captive hardware is sold separately and is quoted based on your needs. We always ensure we include spares to set you up for success. All of our panel designs were created to be used in multiple ways. They can be built as backdrops, columns, self-supporting towers, or even 3d cubes. Furthermore, most of the designs can create multiple patterns when used as backdrops or towers. Here is an example:

Our Fire Rated PVC is self-extinguishing and has properties that are UL94V-0 compliant. Our material self extinguishes within less than 5 seconds, which is quite remarkable. Additionally, our plastic also has a high tensile strength of over 2,200 pounds per square inch. Our PVC is also tear resistant. Our heaviest PVC design panel is 3.5 lbs. Most Pro Scenes panels have an average weight closer to 1.75 lbs. Projection Surfaces At Mod Scenes we create some of the most incredible projection surfaces! Here is a bit of detail on the versatile products we have created to serve you well! Our projection surfaces are comprised of specially designed Mod Scenes panels that are precision cut out of fire rated coroplast. These panels are cut in a way to maximize the viewing area, while still creating a unique look. The coroplast we use in these products is a bright white that takes projection wonderfully. Each panel is connected with a black expanded connector that creates 1” spacing around each panel. These connectors create a repeatable separation that makes for a really unique projection surface. Each panel in this surface is connected with white nylon bolts and wingnuts, these visually disappear into the surface. Our standard projection surfaces are sold in 16:9 format sizes but are customizable to any shape or size. If you are looking for a custom size, let our team know and we will be happy to create it for you! Additionally, if you are looking for a heavier duty solution, all of our projection products can also be made out of our Pro Scenes PVC. This touring grade material is best for heavy use where assembly and disassembly are frequent. As with all of our sets, extra hardware is always included! Want to really know some technical details? Packaging- Our boxes are custom made out of 275 double wall cardboard that folds into itself. This unique design creates a durable container that protects the contents of the box, even from a 12’ fall. Our boxes are made to withstand the brutal conditions of shipping.
Shipping- We have got this down to a science! For over half of the country we can deliver our products via ground shipping in 2 days or less. The remainder of the country receives their shipment in 3 days. Furthermore, we have express partnerships with air cargo facilities across North America which enables us to fulfill most rush orders within less than 24 hours. North American shipments outside of the US can expect under 7 business days for ground shipments. Most ground shipments to Canada average 4 business days.
